Left Hand Drawings
2021
Digital print on art card, colour pencils, ink on paper

In May 2021, I suffered a bad injury to my right thumb. I was given a month-long break from work and was feeling rather lousy until I discovered I could draw with my left hand. I made many drawings and things started to get better.

First presented at Supernormal, Singapore, as part of the exhibition Workshopables. The work was revisited in 2022 as part of Page Break at the Singapore Art Museum, where the drawings were published in the form of two new books — Left Hand Drawings (My Right Hand) and Left Hand Drawings (Rearrange The World).
